The best laid plans...

My date and I had already discussed everything: the vehicle, the place to eat, what time to arrive, everything! It turns out that his shoes were too small, so we stopped at this little mall and go in to buy him shoes. Okay. Here I am in my dress, shoes, hair done everything, and he wants to buy new shoes. It turns out that everybody forgot the little things and we saw everybody in this little mall and that's where most of our pictures came from. My advice is whatever happens go with it because that's what you will remember most!

My very own Prince Charming

I was a sophomore and had a crush on this junior who was friends with my best friend. I had never really talked to him before, but one day when I opened my locker I saw a pink rose tapped to the inside of my locker with a note that said "Will you go to prom with me? Love Daren." My friend had put it in my locker. I thought it was just a joke so I didn't bother getting a dress or anything. So two days before prom I get a call from Daren. It wasn't a joke and he really did want me to go with him, but I didn't even have a dress! So I called talked to my mom and she said that I could stay home from school the next day with my older sister to find everything I needed. The night of the prom I was getting ready with Erika. My makeup and hair were all done and my dress was on and I went to put on my second shoe but I couldn't find it! a half hour of me searching everywhere for my shoe when the doorbell rings! Daren was there and no one was answering the door. So I had to go downstairs and open the door with only one shoe on. When I opened it my whole family and all of my friends where there with cameras and in front of a white limo was Daren with my other shoe. He said " My beautiful Cinderella, you can't go to prom without your other glass slipper" it was the corniest but most romantic night of my life and we've been together for a year.

Two proms 2 very different stories

I went to both my junior and senior prom. My junior year, I went with my best friend.I was so excited because it was my first prom. I remember he got me the biggest corsage. It was beautiful. It was pink flowers to match my dress. It kept falling off when we were dancing though. For one night, I felt like Cinderella. It was like I was on cloud nine. It was such a magical night. I wish everyday could be like that night. That night he asked me out. I said yes, but two months later we broke up. If I could go back in time, I would do it all over again. I went with a group my senior year. I had fun but nothing could compare to my junior year. There was this one guy I was supposed to go with. Him and I went to Winter Formal together. It was dreadful. I wasn't feeling the music. He wouldn't dance with me at all. I asked to go home early. Him and I both agreed not to go to prom together. He told everybody at school that I was a terrible dancer. He also said that he's glad him and I didn't go to prom together. I was mad at the fact he was talking crap about me. There was just so much drama surrounding senior prom. Its an experience I will never forget.

My pink puffy dress

I could not wait until the prom! After getting ready, I could not wait for the limo to arrive! My dress was pink and puffy, decorated with diamanties. THE PUFFIEST DRESS EVER!!!! When I arrived people compimented my dress and people's faces dropped. When it came to the awards ceremony, we waited patiently to see who won Prom Queen and Prom King. When they called my name out; my eyes lit up and for once all eyes was on me. All of the time and effort for all the arrangements for the prom has finally paid off and this experience will be something I will cherish for the rest of my life.
